FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, New York (July 30, 2014) E.J. Calvin and Friends present “The Network 3Q,” on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the L Lounge located at 2131 Frederick Douglas Boulevard NY, NY 10026 as a free resource to Harlem entrepreneurs and business owners.  As the third installment in the networking series, this event aims to highlight the development of young professionals and encourage business collaborations. Specifically, EJCALVIN has launched the Executive Leadership Program, an exclusive internship preparation and placement course, providing collegiate students with valuable work experiences and career opportunities.

Like the first and second quarter events, The Network 3Q is hosted in Harlem and fashioned as a tool to align entrepreneurs of the Greater New York area together. “The Network 3Q” offers the opportunity for people to engage each other within an interactive environment, encouraging collaboration and creativity. Featuring special invited guests such as financial analysts, marketing experts, and business consultants, participants of the event have the unique opportunity for one on one conversation with influential industry experts. Partners of the third edition of “The Network 3Q” include REEL Consortium, a young group of progressive and talented professionals in the real estate industry as well as Francilia Wilkins, emerging leader in business development, marketing, and branding.

The Harlem Business Alliance who are known leaders in partnership and advocacy for emerging businesses in Harlem, are continued partners of “The Network” since the inaugural event this past February at the La Maison D’Art.  Featuring hors d’oeuvres from Vel Pee’s Catering, desserts by Chef Jeff Catering, and photography by Kolin Mendez, the inaugural event provided guests the opportunity to view the art of Al Johnson’s solo exhibit “The Room of Wonders” while engaging in meaningful conversations. As mentioned in the April 17, 2014 feature of The Cosmopolitan Review in the Amsterdam News, Yvonne Delaney Mitchell, captured the essence of “The Network: Happy Hour Edition,” solidifying the importance of the series and its place within the community.

Founder of “The Network” and Entertainment Consultant, E.J. Calvin, aspires that “Entrepreneurs will be encouraged to interact and make important connections for their businesses while enjoying the intimate setting of L Lounge on July 30.  This event, as the last, promises to redefine the meaning of networking for emerging and established Harlem businesses.
